计算量子材料学

  我们的主要研究兴趣是从电子能带结构、对称分析和量子响应的角度来理解和预测材料的性能。理解和设计强物理响应的材料对发展数据存储、信息传输和能量转换等技术具有现实的影响,对现代社会的进步也会带来积极的影响。

  在线性响应范围,具有强贝利曲率的材料经常伴随着有趣的量子输运性能,例如反常霍尔效应,拓扑霍尔效应、自旋霍尔效应、反常能斯特效应、磁光效应以及各种磁阻效应等。在线性响应被禁止的系统中,材料的输运性能经常有高阶响应所决定,包括非线性霍尔效应、体态二阶光伏效应,THz辐射的发射和探测等。在化学方面,电子能带结构和对称对于能源材料和手性材料的催化反应也就用重要的作用。

  结合模型哈密顿量、密度泛函理论和自主开发软件包,我们的主要目标是通过对具体材料的研究建立起基本物理理论和实验测量之间的联系,期望实现材料的现实应用。
